Questions committees ask us
Who pays for Enclavo?
The society pays one monthly or yearly amount from the maintenance fund, based on the number of flats. Residents, guards and the committee use the app at no cost.
Do guards need a smartphone?
Yes, any Android phone works. During the pilot we can lend the society a phone for the gate.
How long does setup take?
Usually one visit. Send us your flat list in Excel, we import it, and residents get their login by WhatsApp the same day.
What if a resident does not use smartphones?
The guard can still call the flat from the app, and the automatic phone call works on any phone, including basic ones.
Can we move from MyGate or another app?
Yes. We import your flats and residents and run both side by side for a week if the committee wants.
Is our data safe? Who can see it?
Each society's data is kept separate. Residents see only their own flat; guards see the gate; the committee sees their own society. We never sell data or show ads. Mobile numbers are not shown to other residents.
Does money pass through Enclavo?
No. Residents pay the society's own UPI ID or bank account. Enclavo only records the payment and helps the treasurer confirm it.
Can a committee member who lives in the society use one login?
Yes. They get a My home and Committee switch in the same app, with one mobile number.
Does it work in Gujarati and Hindi?
The guard screens work in English, Hindi and Gujarati, switched with one tap. Notices can be written in English with Gujarati or Hindi alongside.
What happens if the internet is slow at the gate?
The guard screen is light and works on a basic Android phone with mobile data. If a resident misses the alert, an automatic phone call goes to the flat.
Can residents see the society's accounts?
Only if the committee switches it on. Then residents see income and expenditure, receipts and payments and balances, read-only. Vendor details and bank lines stay with the committee.
